In order to verify the effectiveness and applicability of the company's "Production Safety Accident Emergency Rescue Plan" and improve the on-site employees' ability to deal with emergencies and respond to emergencies, our company carried out an emergency rescue drill on the afternoon of May 17, 2022.

In this drill, it is assumed that the waste paint thinner in the company's hazardous waste warehouse has a fire, explosion and leakage of dangerous chemicals, and employees are poisoned and fainted during the process of self-disposal.

Emergency rescue drill

The commander-in-chief announced the official start of the drill. The company's emergency rescue team started the company-level emergency response after receiving the report, and notified the members of the emergency rescue teams to immediately rush to the scene of the incident to carry out emergency rescue.

After the emergency rescue personnel arrive, they will carry out emergency rescue according to the company's "Special Emergency Plan for Fire and Explosion Accidents", "Special Emergency Plan for Hazardous Chemical Leakage Accidents" and "On-site Disposal Plan for Poisoning Injury Accidents". The evacuation guidance team will isolate the scene by vigilance, and strictly control the entry of irrelevant personnel to ensure the order of the accident rescue scene. The emergency rescue team immediately put on fire-fighting protective clothing, positive pressure respirators, and entered the fire scene with gas masks, walkie-talkies, and rescue stretchers. Adhering to the principle of "saving people first, then putting out fires", they searched and rescued people who were trapped in a coma with poisoning, and used rescue stretchers. Rescue the comatose person and transfer the comatose person to a safe area. The medical rescue team immediately provides medical care to the poisoned and comatose person. Peripheral rescuers used foam fire extinguishing devices to connect water hoses to put out the fire. The scene of the accident was dealt with and the danger was lifted.

After the drill, the on-site commander made a summary comment on the emergency rescue drill, and asked to further optimize, supplement and improve the company's emergency rescue plan according to the problems found in the drill. At the same time, it is hoped that all participating departments can continue to strengthen emergency awareness, strengthen departmental linkage, and improve their ability to respond to emergency rescue and disposal.

After the drill, the HSE department once again strengthened the use of fire extinguishers for the participants, and let the on-site personnel get started one by one.
