On June 9, 2023, the first batch 3 out of 6 units 390m3 horizontal liquid nitrogen storage tanks of the North Field East project manufactured by Furui CIT and the first batch 4 out of 46 units pressure vessels of the North Field East project manufactured by FRHE were loaded on the barge at Zhangjiagang Gangxin Port, and then went to Shanghai Port to transfer to the same foreign ship, exporting to Qatar.

Background of the project:

Qatar Petroleum's North Field LNG project is the world's largest non-associated natural gas field, and the North Field East (NFE) project is the first phase of its expansion project, located in the northeast coast of the Qatar Peninsula. The NFE project is expected to increase Qatar's LNG production by 43% to 110 million tons per year.
