FURUI CIT delivers 4,500 cubic meters of LNG marine fuel tanks to help East Asian shipping green transformation

In 2024, FURUI CIT successfully delivered the second 4,500 cubic meters of LNG marine fuel tanks in its series and sent them to Imabari Shipyard in Japan. The tank will be installed on the latest environmentally friendly 210,000-ton bulk carrier, providing key clean energy support for the Imabari shipbuilding project under Mitsubishi Heavy Industries of Japan.

Last year, Furui CIT successfully completed the manufacture and delivery of Mitsubishi's 3,000 cubic meter LNG marine fuel tank, marking that the company's technical strength and manufacturing capabilities in the field of liquefied natural gas (LNG) marine fuel tanks have once again been internationally recognized. This project is an important achievement of the cooperation between Furui CIT and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries of Japan. The first 3,000 cubic meter LNG marine fuel tank was successfully delivered in 2024 and has been sent to Imabari Shipyard in Japan.
