Brazil and Argentina in South America are vast, sparsely populated and rich in natural gas resources, but the construction of natural gas pipelines is lagging behind. Especially the Amazon rainforest in Brazil, the vegetation is very lush, the difficulty of laying natural gas pipelines and the damage to the Amazon rainforest can be imagined. These two countries are very suitable for using remote gas wells to liquefy on-site, and transport them to power plants through LNG ISO containers to generate electricity after gasification. As a well-known ISO container manufacturer in China, Furui CIT has provided a total of more than 300 sets of 40 feet LNG ISO containers for two large-scale LNG power generation projects in Brazil and Argentina.

Argentina project: Argentina is the world's second-largest shale gas reserve, the Vaca Muerta formation, but once relied on imported LNG to meet winter demand due to lagging domestic production and pipeline capacity. A liquefaction plant has been built in the Mendoza province of Argentina to collect and liquefy the vented natural gas from remote gas wells into LNG. The LNG is transported to a natural gas power plant using tanks to provide electricity to 125,000 local residents. The movable ISO container not only reduces the huge initial investment and post-maintenance cost of natural gas pipeline construction, but also is safe, convenient, flexible and fast. Customers call this product a virtual pipeline. Our company provided 65 sets of ISO containers for this project.

Brazil project: A huge LNG liquefaction plant has been built in Amazon rain forest zone, producing more than 435 tons of LNG per day and the LNG will be transported by ISO containers or Road tankers from this LNG liquefaction plant to a gas power plant near the northern border of Brazil, when fully operational, it will reach an installed capacity of 2.7 GW. In recent years, with the increase of global carbon emissions, the global climate has been rising year by year. The project has made a significant contribution to low-carbon environmental protection in Brazil and the world. Liquefaction plants liquefy natural gas from remote gas wells and transport the LNG by road transport to the power plant's gasification station. Our company provided 240 LNG tanks for this project.
